I bought this Gourmia 6 Quart Digital Air Fryer looking for a healthy and productive alternative to regular frying and I was shocked with the outcome! It works so fast and makes the food taste like it has the crunch and texture of a real fry. Like seriously restaurant quality food! I am super happy about my purchase and I also love how easily the machine can be used.
Bought it on sale, it makes sweet potato fries, crispy broccoli, Breaded shrimp, and so much more. Easy to use, has a preheat feature you can turn on or off. I like that the entire basket is dishwasher friendly and you use minimal oil to cook with it (I usually just spray the food with oil twice).
My only caution is that food needs to have ample space around it for air flow (so it can cook evenly), meaning you shouldn’t over pack food in it for better results. I’ve found it works best when you only have food one layer high and not so full that there are no gaps in it. Great for making a side dish for 3-4 people, or a larger dish for 2.
Reheats and crisps food quickly too. This small, awesome Gourmia 6 Quart Digital Air Fryer device is lightweight so I’m able to keep it in a cabinet and easily take it out only when using it. It cooks or reheats food quickly without a mess. I would just recommend experimenting with cooking times from air fryer recipes as I’ve found that cooking times do vary. There’s many great charts on the internet. The price I paid was great too. Definitely something that’s great for the family!
