When it comes to technology does anyone do it any better than Apple? Bought these Apple iPad Air 4th Generation tablets for both my kids for Christmas 2020 and they are using these iPads almost as much as their iPhones! Almost exclusively for all their school work! Super easy to set up to their existing Apple IDs and the Apple ecosystem. I have to say I’m thinking about sunsetting my old iPad mini from 2015 for a new one of these babies! These kids are making me envious.
This new Apple iPad Air 4th Generation, on the surface, just looks cool and well built. It’s a bit faster, a bit thinner, a bit lighter, and a bit shinier than all the other tablets I’ve used before. But, taken altogether and taken along with the second generation Apple Pencil, it feels like an entirely new experience. I haven’t been this struck by a new device in a while. That Apple Pencil is a game changer. A whole new user experience when it comes to Apple. Writing and drawing on it feels completely intuitive and fluid. The responsiveness of the interface with the pencil is amazing. It reproduces my handwriting (and I write like garbage) perfectly. And more than that, the built-in handwriting recognition in the OS is really cool.
Next we paired it with the Apple Magic Keyboard, which again is awesome. It turns this incredible tablet into for all extensive purposes a laptop! The Apple iPad Air 4th Generation snaps on easily and the tilt holds into place very well. Almost too well, in fact. You need a good amount of effort to change the angle of the iPad. The trackpad makes the iPad function like a laptop and the keyboard is great, even on this 10.9 inch model!
My oldest is using this almost exclusively for all her College school work! She does all her lessons, emails, Zoom classes, etc., with the keyboard and the iPad. It takes the tablet to a whole new level! Regret not having a keyboard for my previous iPad models sooner.
All in all, a great device for so many things! Especially for those who love to edit and create when it comes to video and graphics. Just so fun to create with! We bought these devices for the kids for School, but you’ll find you’ll use these things for so much more than that! It’s gonna be your go to once ya get your hands on one! Fun!
