The Allen Sports 4 Bike Towing Rack is the Perfect solution for the bigger families who want to take all 4 bikes with them when they camp or hit the road for an outdoor weekend!
I really like this rack and bought the 4 bike rack for two reasons. 1) It fits a 2″ receiver hitch (more stable and less wobbling that the 1 1/2″) and 2) It costs $60 less than the two bike rack (Prices may change).
I travel 300 miles with this rack often with all my bikes and no issues to date. Very stable and easy to get off and on. If I need to open my hatchback it lowers out of the way to access the trunk or hatch so you don’t need to remove the rack ever really if you use it often.
Assembly was quick and easy if you follow the directions. Order it from Amazon as it may be hard to find as most stores only stock up to 1 1/2″. I also bought a locking pin so that anyone with a socket set could not steal it while I am riding or at the campsite enjoying some fun and away from the vehicle.
Alternate your Bike direction when you fill your rack as it will give you much more space this way! For those who aren’t going cross country on a regular basis with bikes in tow, this rack is for you!
